KP\u2019s young emerging MMA fighter emerging Mix Martial Art (MMA)<\/a> fighter Junaid Khan, who hails from district Mardan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is optimistic to represent Pakistan on international level in MMA fights despite the facts that he lacks resources and training facilities.<\/p>\n

Junaid Khan 21, who recently knocked out his Afghan opponent in a fight held in Peshawar in 47 seconds, is committed to play for Pakistan and bring laurels to the country in the world.<\/p>\n

While talking to the Voice of KP, Junaid Khan said that he took part in a number of local MMA fights and won all of those.<\/p>\n

Junaid Khan said that he has the talent and courage to play at national and international level for his country but lack of facilities and resources have hindered his dream of representing Pakistan at international level in Mix Martial Arts sports.<\/p>\n

He lamented that back in 2019, \u201cI was challenged by my Afghan opponent for a fight in Peshawar for which I needed to join a proper training camp with an expert trainer. I had no money but still I did not give up and sold my mobile phone for training.\u201d<\/p>\n

KP\u2019s young emerging MMA fighter Junaid said he hails from a poor family therefore due to lack of resources he could not get proper training which deprived him of playing the big fights.<\/p>\n

Junaid Khan is also facing a strong opposition from his family especially his parents, as they did not want him to be a player of MMA considering it a brutal game.<\/p>\n

Junaid Khan said there is a lot of talent in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa especially in these sports which if polished with proper training; it could represent Pakistan at international level.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
