The Petroleum Dealers Association withdrew their planned strike after successful negotiations with the federal government. The decision came following a meeting between association leaders and Petroleum Minister Dr. Mossadegh Malik, alongside the Chairman of OGRA and officials from the Ministry of Petroleum.<\/p>\n

Sources revealed that petroleum dealers strongly opposed the proposal to deregulate fuel prices. However, the government assured them that they would be included in the decision-making process regarding the deregulation of the petroleum sector.<\/p>\n

Petroleum Minister Dr. Mossadegh Malik officially announced the deregulation of oil sector prices.
