{"id":44508,"date":"2025-04-04T16:04:11","date_gmt":"2025-04-04T11:04:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/voiceofkp.org\/en\/?p=44508"},"modified":"2025-04-04T16:04:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T11:04:11","slug":"kpra-collects-rs-37-37-billion-in-9-months-marking-41-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voiceofkp.org\/en\/kpra-collects-rs-37-37-billion-in-9-months-marking-41-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"KPRA Collects Rs. 37.37 Billion in 9 Months, Marking 41% Growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1864\">Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has demonstrated remarkable performance by collecting Rs. 37.37 billion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, marking a 41% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1866\" data-end=\"2044\">According to KPRA\u2019s spokesperson, the authority collected Rs. 26.58 billion during the corresponding period last year, and this year, revenue surged by Rs. 10.79 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2046\" data-end=\"2216\">Detailed breakdown shows that Rs. 28.8 billion were collected from Sales Tax on Services, and Rs. 8.57 billion from the Infrastructure Development Cess.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2418\">Last year, collections under the same heads stood at Rs. 22.8 billion and Rs. 3.74 billion, respectively, indicating a 26% rise in Sales Tax and a remarkable 129% increase in the Cess.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2420\" data-end=\"2611\">KPRA Director General Fauzia Iqbal praised the dedication of her team and said the authority is on track not only to achieve but to exceed the annual target of Rs. 47 billion by June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2613\" data-end=\"2832\">She also extended gratitude to the taxpayers for their trust, and to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Finance Advisor Muzammil Aslam for their continued support and guidance in achieving institutional goals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has demonstrated remarkable performance by collecting Rs. 37.37 billion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, marking a 41% increase compared to the same period last year.
