\nThe day’s proceedings will commence with Quran Khwani (recitation of the Holy Quran) and special prayers in mosques nationwide. A 31-gun salute will be presented in the federal capital, Islamabad, while provincial capitals will witness a 21-gun salute to mark the occasion.
\nSignificant ceremonial events will include change of guard ceremonies at the mausoleums of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi and Allama Muhammad Iqbal in Lahore.
