Abbottabad: The three-day student summit \u201cPEAK 2026\u201d, organized by Synapse Global<\/span><\/span> in collaboration with Ayesha Foundation<\/span><\/span> and supported by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Affairs Department<\/span><\/span> and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority<\/span><\/span>, concluded successfully with a series of policy recommendations aimed at addressing climate change and public health challenges.<\/p>\n

Held at Baragali Summer Campus<\/span><\/span>, the summit brought together more than 200 students from across the province representing the fields of medicine, engineering, and data science.<\/p>\n

A major highlight of the event was the \u201cBio-Digital Climate Roundtable,\u201d where student leaders and senior medical faculty jointly drafted the historic \u201cBaragali Accord.\u201d The agreement emphasized the establishment of clinical green audits in hospitals and climate disease registries. A \u201cSynapse Vanguard\u201d task force was also formed to oversee implementation of the recommendations.<\/p>\n

Another key feature of the summit was the \u201cHum Nawa \u2014 Accessible for All\u201d programme, organized with the support of Ayesha Foundation to ensure the participation of students with disabilities and those from the merged districts. Participants engaged in eco-art, nature journaling, and other creative activities.<\/p>\n

In the Nature Art Competition, student Adnan Khan<\/span><\/span> secured first position, while Humaira Ghiyas<\/span><\/span> finished second.<\/p>\n

The summit also featured research pitches, eco drills, debates, creative exhibitions, visual arts showcases, and interdisciplinary learning activities. Through X-Studio modules and live art exhibitions, participants explored innovative ways to integrate clinical data with visual storytelling.<\/p>\n

Addressing the closing ceremony, Tayyaba Batool<\/span><\/span> said the foundation would continue advocating for the rights, representation, and inclusion of persons with disabilities. She stressed the importance of ensuring their meaningful participation in climate-health policymaking.<\/p>\n

She congratulated Synapse Global Chairman Ahad Nazir<\/span><\/span> and his team for successfully organizing the summit and appreciated the support of the provincial youth affairs and tourism authorities.<\/p>\n

Concluding the event, Ahad Nazir announced \u201cPEAK 2027,\u201d stating that next year\u2019s summit would be held on a larger scale with broader objectives and more inclusive participation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
