1,077 Afghan Nationals deported to Afghanistan via Torkham border

The repatriation of Afghan refugees continues. A total of 1,077 Afghan nationals were deported to Afghanistan via the Torkham border. Among them, 30 Afghan refugees were deported from the Hamza Baba Gulab Ground Transit Camp, while 777 were deported by Torkham FIA.

The deportation of Afghan families residing illegally in Pakistan is ongoing through the Pak-Afghan Torkham border. On Saturday, April 5, hundreds of families living in various cities of Pakistan were deported to Afghanistan via Torkham.

The deadline for the voluntary return of Afghan refugees has ended. Now, Afghan nationals are being deported from Punjab to Afghanistan via the Torkham border.

According to Torkham immigration officials, 129 undocumented Afghans were deported from Islamabad, 143 from Faisalabad, 54 from Rahim Yar Khan, 68 from Hafizabad, 52 from Narowal, 150 from Sargodha, 48 from Multan, 86 from Sheikhupura, and 47 from Bahawalpur. Additionally, 30 Afghan refugees were sent from a camp in Landi Kotal to Afghanistan via Torkham.

The process of Afghan repatriation from various parts of the country is ongoing and increasing day by day.
