Salman Ahmad
Editor, Voice of KP
Salman Ahmad is a seasoned journalist and media professional with over a decade of experience in Pakistan's media and research sectors. Working as a journalist since 2012, he has built a solid reputation for editorial leadership, conflict-sensitive reporting, and strategic communication.
Currently serving as the Editor of Voice of KP, Salman leads the platform with a clear editorial vision—amplifying underrepresented voices from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal districts, while promoting fact-based, inclusive journalism.
Over the years, he has held key roles at several esteemed organizations, including the Nawa-i-Waqt Media Group, where he refined his expertise in newsroom operations and print journalism. At Tribal News Network (TNN), he focused on stories from conflict-hit and underserved regions, championing local narratives often overlooked in mainstream media.
Beyond traditional journalism, Salman has also contributed to policy research and strategic communication through his work with Raabta Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and the Centre for Research & Security Studies (CRSS). His contributions have supported national dialogues around peacebuilding, counter-extremism, and media literacy.
With a deep understanding of Pakistan's socio-political landscape, especially in KP and the former FATA regions, Salman Ahmad brings both journalistic integrity and a strategic vision to Voice of KP.
