11 military personnel and 40 civilians including women and children martyred in Indian attacks – ISPR

On the midnight of May 6 and 7, 2025, Indian Armed Forces launched unprovoked and condemnable attacks targeting civilian populations along the Line of Control. These brutal assaults deliberately targeted innocent men, women, children, and the elderly, resulting in the martyrdom of 40 civilians— including 7 women and 15 children—and injuring 121 others, among them 10 women and 27 children.

According to ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), in response to these serious provocations, Pakistan’s armed forces launched a powerful retaliation under the operation titled “Marka-e-Haq.” Under this operation, significant enemy positions were accurately and prominently targeted.

In the course of defending the homeland, 11 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom, and 78 were injured. The list of martyrs includes:

Pakistani Army Martyrs:

Naik Abdul Rehman
Lance Naik Dilawar Khan
Lance Naik Ikramullah
Naik Waqar Khalid
Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar
Sepoy Nisar
Pakistan Air Force Martyrs:

Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf
Chief Technician Omer Zubair
Senior Technician Najeeb
Corporal Technician Farooq
Senior Technician Bashir

The ISPR stated that the sacrifices of these martyrs exemplify the unwavering patriotism and duty-bound spirit of Pakistan’s armed forces, which will always remain a shining beacon of national resilience. The military has paid tribute to the martyrs and expressed prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.

The spokesperson emphasized that the nation remains steadfast against any enemy aggression and that, if Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity is challenged, the response will be swift, resolute, and decisive.
