Several activists, including Usman Dar, have been arrested during preparations for today’s PTI meeting in Sialkot. PTI workers have been arrested by the police for holding a rally in Sialkot without the permission of the district administration. Usman Dar and other arrested workers have been shifted to Narowal Jail.

The annual festival of Kailash Valley, Chilam Josh, was inaugurated in Chitral today, May 14, which will will continue till May 16. The Chilam Josh festival is celebrated by the Kailash community to celebrate the end of winter and the arrival of spring. This festival is considered as a harbinger of happiness in the three valleys of Kailash, Bamburit, Barir and Rimbor, in the month of May, when summer begins and flowers bosom.
Goat’s milk is collected at the festival and people wear new clothes while traditional dance parties are also held in every village. The festivities will take place on May 14 in Barre, on May 15 in Rimbor and the final closing ceremony will be on May 16 in Bamburit.
