KP Education Department announces appointments of 16 Vice Chancellors

In a significant development, the Department of Higher Education of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued appointment letters to 16 new Vice Chancellors across various universities in the province.

Minister for Higher Education, Maidar Khan Afridi, confirmed that appointment letters have been dispatched for all 16 universities. He emphasized that the focus remains firmly on improving higher education standards and addressing the challenges faced by academic institutions.

Minister Afridi expressed optimism that the new Vice Chancellors would dedicate their efforts towards the welfare of students and faculty members, aiming to foster a better academic environment. He further stated that the government is committed to the continuous enhancement of university standards and the overall development of higher education in KP.

FATAH Series surface-to-surface missile

Pakistan successfully test-launches FATAH Series missile

Pakistan today conducted a successful training launch of a FATAH Series surface-to-surface missile with a range of 120 kilometers as part of ongoing Ex INDUS.

The launch was aimed at ensuring the operational readiness of troops and validating key technical parameters, including the missile’s advanced navigation system and enhanced accuracy.

The training launch was witnessed by senior officers of Pakistan Army, as well as officers, scientists and engineers from Pakistan’s strategic organizations.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and the Chief of Army Staff extended their congratulations to the participating troops, scientists, and engineers. They expressed complete confidence in the operational preparedness and technical proficiency of Pakistan Army to thwart any aggression against the territorial integrity of Pakistan.
