Starting today, a polio vaccination campaign will run for five days across 36 districts, including Peshawar, while Peshawar and Khyber will have a seven-day campaign.
During this campaign, 6.53 million children will receive polio vaccines. A total of 35,500 teams have been formed to carry out the campaign. Notably, this marks the first polio campaign in Upper and Lower South Waziristan in two years. To ensure the safety of polio workers, 50,000 security personnel have been deployed.
