Child Beggars Rescued in Bannu; Protection Bureau Intervenes

Bannu: District Emergency Officer Bakhtullah Wazir rescued two child beggars selling mint at Kohat Road Kurram Bridge and called in the Child Protection Bureau. The girls were taken into protective custody and shifted to Dar-ul-Aman.

District Child Protection Officer Naseem Iqbal stated that reports of inhumane treatment towards children were received, which violates child protection laws and human rights. He stressed that such behavior will not be tolerated.
