Bannu: A Jirga chaired by Commissioner Muhammad Ali Shah and Brigadier Naveed Ahmad Mukhtar was held in Bannu to address law and order, traffic, and local development issues. Religious leaders, traders, minority representatives, and community elders participated.
Participants voiced concerns over road blockages, traffic jams, and opposed female entry into the Bannu Cantt Park. The officials clarified that the park was built upon demand by the Apex Committee and that its use would be determined by the local community.
Several under-construction roads will be completed by July 1, and efforts to restore public order with community support were emphasized. The Jirga concluded with firm assurances to address public concerns.
