Islamabad: The Cabinet Division of Pakistan has officially announced the public holidays for Eid al-Adha 2026.

According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Eidul Azha holidays will be observed from May 26 to May 28.

The notification was issued following approval by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

As per the announcement, May 26 has been declared a holiday for Hajj observance, while Eidul Azha will be celebrated across Pakistan on Wednesday, May 27, with religious fervour and enthusiasm.

The Cabinet Division has directed all federal institutions and relevant departments to ensure implementation of the holiday schedule.
