German Ambassador Alfred Grannas Visits Tarbela Dam Fourth Extension Hydel Power Station
Swabi: German Ambassador Alfred Grannas visited the Tarbela Dam Fourth Extension Hydel Power Station, where he inspected various sections of the facility. Chief Engineer (O&M) Tarbela-IV, Muhammad Tariq, provided a detailed briefing on the project’s completion and electricity generation.
The Tarbela-IV (T4) project, after its successful completion, is now generating 1,410 megawatts of electricity, which is being supplied to the national grid. Ambassador Grannas was briefed on the operational efficiency and impact of the power station, highlighting its role in enhancing Pakistan’s renewable energy capacity.
