Two new cases of mpox have been confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the health department. The patients are a 42-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from Peshawar. The younger patient’s case is local, while the 42-year-old returned from Saudi Arabia last year. Both patients, who initially sought treatment at Khyber Teaching Hospital where tests confirmed the diagnosis, have been isolated at home. Health Advisor Ehtisham Ali stated that no symptoms have been observed in any family members of the infected individuals.
