Peshawar – In response to the escalating regional tensions and in line with provincial government directives, Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) convened an emergency meeting to implement wartime contingency measures. The meeting was chaired by LRH Director Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan and attended by department heads and medical staff.
As part of its emergency preparedness strategy, the hospital has designated 400 beds for potential war-related casualties and has submitted a request for emergency funding to enhance its readiness for any unforeseen crisis.
A hospital spokesperson confirmed that all arrangements have been finalized, and special directives have been issued to the medical staff. LRH affirmed its full commitment to support the Pakistan Armed Forces and play a critical role in safeguarding national security.
