RAWALPINDI – The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has officially appointed Lieutenant General (Retired) Nigar Johar as its Brand Ambassador for Women Empowerment Initiatives.
The announcement was made during a ceremony titled “She Leads – A Tribute to Women”, held at the Chamber House on Monday, according to a report by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The event honored the resilience, strength, and achievements of women across Pakistan, with Lt. Gen. (R) Nigar Johar, the country’s first and only female three-star general, attending as the chief guest.
RCCI President Usman Shaukat, in his welcoming address, praised her illustrious career as a symbol of courage, dedication, and breaking barriers.
Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar hails from Panjpeer, Swabi, and her trailblazing career has been widely recognized as an inspiration for women across the country.
