Peshawar (News Desk): The Secondary School Certificate (Matric) Annual Examination 2025 (Second Term) under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar commenced on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The exams are being held simultaneously across Peshawar, Khyber, Charsadda, Mohmand, and Chitral districts.

A total of 173 male and 65 female examination centers have been established, where 71,234 candidates are appearing. To ensure transparency and fairness, 1,967 supervisory staff members have been appointed, and all examination centers have already been supplied with stationery and essential materials.

Chairman BISE Peshawar, Mr. Khuda Bakhsh, personally inspected the arrangements and reaffirmed that all possible measures are being taken to conduct fair and transparent examinations. He warned that any form of cheating or illegal activity would not be tolerated, and monitoring teams will remain vigilant throughout the exams.

Students have been instructed to arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam, carry their roll number slips, and avoid bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices inside the hall, as these are strictly prohibited.

The Peshawar Board administration extended its best wishes to all candidates, encouraging them to appear in the exams with honesty, discipline, and hard work to uphold the tradition of a transparent and credible examination system.
