Security Measures in Peshawar: Drone and Quadcopter Ban to Protect Citizens and Critical Installations

In light of the current security situation, the District Administration of Peshawar has imposed a ban on the flying of drones and quadcopters throughout the district under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC). This decisive step is aimed at safeguarding lives and property, securing vital installations, and preventing any potential chaos or unrest.

The ban is effective for 30 days, and violations will be prosecuted under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. All citizens are urged to adhere to this directive and report any suspicious activities immediately to the relevant authorities.

The administration’s move aims to maintain peace, safety, and security in Peshawar — a step toward a safer Pakistan.
