PM&DC Reschedules Medical Admission Test to 20 September

The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) has officially postponed the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, rescheduling it from 16 August 2026 to 20 September 2026.

According to a press release issued by the PM&DC, the decision has been made on the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The council informed candidates, parents, educational institutions, and other stakeholders that the revised examination date aims to ensure the smooth, secure, and transparent conduct of the nationwide entrance test.

The PM&DC stated that the postponement is intended to facilitate all candidates while maintaining the integrity of the examination process. It further clarified that all other terms, conditions, and examination arrangements will remain unchanged unless officially announced otherwise.

Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official PM&DC website and follow its official communication channels for the latest updates and examination-related instructions.

The council also expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of students, parents, and educational institutions, while regretting any inconvenience caused by the change in schedule.
