Bikers Rally Sets Off from Peshawar to Khyber

Peshawar: A bikers’ rally, organised jointly by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority and Peshawar Bikers, has set off from Peshawar towards Khyber of promote tourism and highlight peaceful destinations in the region.

Officials said the rally was arranged on the directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and Special Assistant for Tourism Malik Adil Iqbal, who are actively working to promote tourism, particularly in the merged districts.

According to Tourism Authority Director Shahryar Mahmood, the rally will travel through historic routes, including the iconic Bab-e-Khyber, Machni Check Post, the railway tunnel, and several other attractions.

More than 30 bikers are participating in the event. Shahryar Mahmood said the primary objective of the rally is to showcase emerging tourist destinations and convey a message of peace.

Bikers’ representative Sajid Khan said the rally began in Saddar, Peshawar, passed through University Road before reaching Bab-e-Khyber.

Another participant, Sajid Ali, thanked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Authority for its support and expressed hope that such initiatives would help boost tourism and improve the region’s positive image.
