PM will inaugurate Rashkai Industrial Zone today

Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate Rashkai Industrial Zone today. Arrangements for the inauguration ceremony have been finalized by Kamran Bangash. Opening ceremony will be held under SOPs.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, Governor, Chief Minister, Chinese officials and industrialists will attend the ceremony. Rashkai is the first industrial zone in the country to be part of CPEC. More than 2.5 lakh direct and indirect jobs will be created for the youth. Priority will be given to industries with import and use of local raw materials for investment. Preference will also be given to industrialists who have laid the foundation of the first industry of its kind in the country. Rashkai Industrial Zone is an excellent example of mutual development between Pakistan and China, The Chinese government is providing 91% financial assistance in Rashkai industrial zone. Rashkai Industrial Zone consists of thousands of kanals of land.  Leading industrial groups of the country are showing interest in Peshawar-Rashkai Industrial Zone.

Khyber Landikotal Khoga Khel district’s protest sit-in against NLC and FBR continues on fourth day. Long queues of vehicles have formed on the Pak-Afghan highway.
Landi Kotal Khoga Khel local and political leaders protest against FBR and NLC. The transporters and drivers standing on the Pak-Afghan highway demanded from the top officials of the government to resolve the issue of locals with the FBR and NLC immediately to reduce the difficulties of transporters and drivers and further improve bilateral trade.
