پشاور:خیبرپختونخوا میں کورونا کے وار میں نمایاں کمی، 88نئے کیسز پورٹ۔ محکمہ صحت کے مطابق
گزشتہ روز کورونا کے باعث 1شخص جاں بحق ہوگیا جبکہ صوبے میں فعال کیسز کی تعداد 2ہزار 83رہ گئی۔
صوبے میں اب تک کورونا کے ہاتھوں 6ہزار 302 افراد جاں بحق ہوئے۔ گزشتہ روز مجموعی طور پر کورونا کے 6 ہزار 397ٹیسٹ کئے گئے۔
اسلام آباد کی انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت (اے ٹی سی) نے منگل کو صدر ڈاکٹر عارف علوی اور حکمران پی ٹی آئی کے سینئر رہنماؤں بشمول وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی کو 2014 کے پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس حملہ کیس میں بری کر دیا۔
اس ماہ کے شروع میں، صدر علوی اپنے وکیل بابر اعوان کے ساتھ عدالت میں پیش ہوئے اور دو الگ الگ درخواستیں جمع کرائیں – ایک آئینی استثنیٰ سے دستبردار ہونے کے لیے اور دوسری درخواست ضابطہ فوجداری کی دفعہ 265 کے تحت عدم ثبوت کی بنا پر ان کی بریت کی درخواست۔ 9 مارچ کو ہونے والی سماعت کے دوران، اے ٹی سی نے استغاثہ کے دلائل سنے جس میں اعتراف کیا گیا کہ صدر کے خلاف درج ایف آئی آر سیاسی طور پر تھی۔
یہ فیصلہ جج محمد علی وڑائچ نے صدر علوی کی درخواست کے ساتھ ساتھ پی ٹی آئی رہنماؤں کی جانب سے دائر بریت کی درخواستوں پر سنایا۔ استغاثہ نے بریت کی درخواستوں پر اعتراض نہیں کیا تھا۔
پی ٹی آئی کے دیگر رہنما جن کو آج بری کیا گیا ان میں وزیر منصوبہ بندی و ترقیات اسد عمر، وزیر دفاع پرویز خٹک، خیبر پختونخوا کے وزیر محنت و ثقافت شوکت علی یوسفزئی، سینیٹر اعجاز احمد چوہدری اور منحرف ارکان جہانگیر ترین اور علیم خان سمیت دیگر شامل ہیں۔
LAHORE : New field SH-15 self-propelled artillery guns have been inducted in the Corps of Artillery.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has attended the induction ceremony of SH-15 self-propelled artillery guns in the Corps of Artillery.
While addressing the ceremony the COAS remarked, “Induction of these most modern guns with increased range, battlefield mobility and accuracy would assuredly enhance operational preparedness of Pakistan Army”. He further expressed satisfaction on induction of this state of the art weapon system to meet the future battlefield challenges.
The army chief s also visited the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where he was received by university’s Vice-Chancellor Dr Arshad Ahmad Malik and faculty members.
During his visit to the university he said that, “Pakistan is blessed with dynamic and talented youth,” as quoted by ISPR, as he interacted with the students.
The army chief further added that human resource development, innovation and technological advancements were vital for progress.
Chief of the Army Staff also said that misinformation and propaganda by inimical forces threatens national cohesion and must be identified and countered collectively through a unified response, according to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations on Tuesday.
