The new 34-member federal cabinet has been sworn in which includes 30 ministers, four ministers of state and three advisers.
Acting President Sadiq Sanjarani administered the oath of office to the newly elected cabinet. Among those who took oath are PML-N leaders Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Saad Rafique and others. PPP’s Khursheed Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman, Abdul Qadir Patel and Shazia Murree have been included in the ministry. MQM’s Aminul Haq and Faisal Sabzwari, while PML-Q member Tariq Bashir Cheema has also been included in the cabinet.
The list of members has been released by the Cabinet Division. PML-N 14, PPP 11 and JUI will get 4 ministries, while MQM, Balochistan Awami Party and BNP-Awami will get 7 ministries.
In the first phase, the coalition will get key ministries, while in the second phase, ministers of state, advisers and aides will be included in the cabinet.
