KP float at Pakistan Day attracts audience

Beautiful float of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 23 March 2022 Parade Ground Islamabad attracts audience with representation of historical sites.
In front of the float Bala Hisar Fort can be seen which was built in 1526 in the city of Peshawar.
Behind the fort, built in 1630, is the minaret of the historic Mahabat Khan Mosque, named after Nawab Mohabbat Khan bin Ali Mardan, the Mughal governor of Peshawar. At the top of the Bala Hisar fort, one can see the traditional turban, Peshawari Patka worn in Peshawar and adjoining areas, which is considered a symbol of honor and dignity.

On the right side of the float is the highest mountain of the Hindu Kush in the Chitral Valley. The 110 km long Hazara Motorway at the foot of Trichh Mir and the tunnel on it near Abbottabad can be seen. A total of 6 tunnels have been constructed on Hazara Motorway.

To the left of the float the Agriculture Park built in Wana, the regional headquarters of South Waziristan can be seen, which has been instrumental in promoting agribusiness in South Waziristan since the return of peace. The park is envisioned as a socio-economic development program for the tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The float features a glimpse of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s culture and civilization, such as the Kailash women, the Khattak dance, the popular musical instrument Rabab, the world’s highest-performing polo, and the remnants of ancient Buddhist civilization.
