NIH calls for wearing mask on domestic flights, trains, buses

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has appealed to the public to wear travel masks in view of the rising number of corona cases in the country.

A tweet from the National Institutes of Health said the National Command and Operations Center had made it mandatory for people to wear masks on domestic flights, trains and buses in view of the growing number of corona cases in some cities across the country.

The tweet said that in view of the current situation, all citizens are requested to wear face masks while traveling.

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), 13,412 tests were performed across the country in 24 hours to diagnose coronavirus, with 382 positive reports.

During the 24 hours, the rate of positive cases of corona was recorded at 2.85% as against 2.81% on the previous day.

According to the National Institutes of Health, two more Corona patients lost their lives in 24 hours, while 84 were in critical condition.
