In preparation for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, the Pakistan cricket team will participate in a triangular T20 series to be played in New Zealand.
Hosts New Zealand and Bangladesh, including Pakistan, will take part in the triangular series to be played at Hegley Oval Christchurch from October 7 to 14.
Pakistan, ranked third in the world in T20, will play its first match in the triangular series against Bangladesh on October 7. In the triangular series, Pakistan and New Zealand will compete for the first time on October 8.
The final of the series will be played on October 14, before which the Pakistan cricket team will return to the field on October 11 against New Zealand and on October 13 against Bangladesh.
After completing the triangular T20 series, the national cricket team will leave for Australia, where Pakistan will play its first match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on October 23 against India in Melbourne. In the mega event, Pakistan will play its next two matches on October 27 and 30 against the qualifying teams in Perth.
