Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, taking note of the growing number of cases of new variant of corona virus type Omi Crone in the country, directed to restore the NCOC immediately.
The Prime Minister directed for immediate revival of NCOC and also sought a report from the Ministry of National Health on the current situation.
On May 9, the National Institutes of Health announced that a new sub variant had been confirmed through genome sequencing. The National Institutes of Health said that due to the new variant of Corona, cases are increasing in different countries.
Citizens have been warned that wearing a mask in a crowded place and vaccination is the best precaution to avoid this variant. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has ordered the public to complete vaccination and apply booster dose after 6 months.
