Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the site of the Peshawar Metro Bus to review the ongoing construction work on Metro Service Islamabad and ordered an inquiry into the delay in the project.
PM Shehbaz arrived at the site to survey the under-construction project which started in 2017 and was to be completed in 2018.
On the occasion, the premier directed to prepare immediate feasibility of connecting Islamabad Metro with motorways from three routes.
He also ordered to run free metro service for the citizens during the month of Ramadan.
Apart from this, PM also directed to run metro service from Peshawar road till the airport on April 16, 2022
