WANA:
To provide better healthcare facilities, a Dialysis Unit at DHQ Hospital Wana has been opened.
Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Lower Mohammad Nasir Khan and District Police Officer Mr. Farmanullah formally inaugurated the Dialysis Unit at DHQ Hospital Wana.
On this occasion, Dr. Hamad Mehmood, Health Manager/MS DHQ Wana of Health Management Organization (MERF) Medical emergency resilience foundation, while giving a briefing said that all facilities will be provided free of cost to dialysis patients.
The Deputy Commissioner and DPO inspected the facilities and met the doctors, and inquired about the facilities from the patients.
Later, MS/ Health Manager Dr. Hamad Mehmood gave a presentation to the guests in the conference hall about the facilities available in the hospital and the performance of the last year.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner and DPO paid tribute to MERF Hospital management and doctors and appreciated their performance.
DC Nasir Khan further said, that the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the district administration have been trying this forever, that all possible facilities are provided to the patients in the hospital on time.
Assistant Commissioner Wan Yasir Salman Kundi, Deputy DHO Dr Irfan, Dr Hidayatullah and local leaders of Wan political alliance were also present on this occasion.
