GB-KP to boost tourism

Peshawar: Governor Syed Mehdi Shah of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) paid a visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and engaged in discussions with Governor Haji Ghulam Ali at the governor house Peshawar.

Matters of mutual interest and crucial issues pertaining to both regions were discussed and both agreed to bolster tourism activities within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, with a particular emphasis on the development of the tourism sector.

The governors reached a consensus on adopting collaborative measures to ensure top-notch facilities and services for tourists. Governor Haji Ghulam Ali articulated that the Gilgit-Baltistan region is endowed with abundant natural resources and holds immense potential for tourism. The envisioned promotion of tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan and the northern areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is anticipated to provide a substantial boost to the national economy.

Haji Ghulam Ali highlighted the allure of tourist destinations such as Babu Sar top and Gilgit-Baltistan, emphasizing the need for comprehensive development in the tourism sector across both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
