Major Mian Abdullah Shah (Pak Army Shaheed Officer)
Major Mian Abdullah Shah, 33, hailed from Kohat martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Shakhas area of Khyber District on 5 July 23.
The security forces were establishing positions to block the suspects from escaping, when Major Shah spotted a party of terrorists and intercepted them — As he was leading the operation from the front. As a result of heavy exchange of fire, the brave son of the nation Major Abdullah having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
He was laid to rest in Ziarat Sheikh Allah Dad area of Tehsil Gumbat, Kohat with complete military honor.
Major Shah was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 2014 and belonged to 19 Punjab Regiment. He had also served in Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists in North Waziristan.
He is survived by his wife and two sons. He was awarded Tamgha-e-Basalat for his bravery and valour.
Major Shah was a true patriot and a hero who laid down his life for a noble cause. Pakistani nation will always remember his courage and devotion to duty.
