Third training badge of Levies and Khasadar Force personnel joining Lakki Marwat and Bannu Police in collaboration with Pakistan Army at Lakki Marwat Training Center started. District Police Officer Lakki Marwat Imran Khan and Additional SP Bannu Saleem Riaz and Pak Army officers were also present on the occasion.
DPO Lakki Marwat Imran Khan while addressing the trainees said that basic training is the backbone of the police in performing their professional duties. He said that all the former Special Forces and Levies of Bannu region, the basic police training of the force is being carried out in a phased manner in collaboration with the Pakistan Army. So that the police personnel can be trained in a good way. On the occasion, DPO Lakki Marwat further said that this is a new beginning for the police of the merged districts and said that after the merger they have all the rights, privileges and powers that other police personnel posted in the province have. He further said that the police department is meant to protect the lives and property of the people, serve the people, uphold the law and clear the society from all crimes and training was the backbone for achieving these goals. He hoped that all the youth would participate in this phase of training with increasing interest and achieve success with distinction so that this final phase of integration of the youth into the police could be successfully completed. At the end, he wished success to all the under-trained soldiers and thanked the trainers of Pakistan Army and Police.
